The Rapiscan 522 EPX (version 524) X-Ray machine is a high performance detection system especially designed to provide the most advanced security technology in high transit places such as airport entrances and check-in halls, embassies, entrances to buildings with a rapid and abundant flow of people, prisons and other governmental institutions.

The system has a tunnel aperture of 850mm (width) by 550mm (height) that comfortably accommodates large sized objects. Intel Pentium technology is incorporated in all of its features which makes it unique in the market. Superior image quality and advanced features provide the essential tool for image analysis along with the Crystal Clear and EPX options that allow quick and easy identification of scanned materials and their composition.

The system incorporates an operator training function with more than 100 simulations as well as an image archive on its hard disk. The TIP feature option allows the operator trainer to insert simulated alarms on scanned objects in order to ensure that operators remain constantly alert.
