Heartbeat Detector

Illegal immigration has been and keeps being an enormous problem for the customs, border and frontier post authorities. Spain has experienced an avalanche of illegal immigration cases, most notably between 2003 – 2005, and the most commonly employed method of entrance is by means of illicit transit inside international cargo lorries.

The searching of lorries at border crossings is generally limited owing to the scarcity of personnel, compounding the problem of how to viably search fully laden vehicles without interrupting the flow of traffic at each entry point.

With this in mind, Proselec has developed the Microsearch System, capable of detecting a human presence in any type of vehicle by means of the vibrations emitted by the human heartbeat. The pulse detector system is the safest and most reliable method for detecting persons hidden in any type of vehicle even when fully loaded with cargo.
