Metor 300

The METOR 300 EMD is the final product in the Rapiscan Systems range of screening machinary. This type of metal detector has been designed using the most advanced technology with the aim of fulfilling the constantly changing requirements of an increasingly challenging civil aviation market and has recently achieved the stringent French STAC approval certification.

The METOR 300 consolidates and strengthens the range of civil aviation products offered by Rapiscan Systems and is easily integrated within existing security systems.

The METOR 300 responds to the need for rapid and effective security at checkpoints without making any concessions to the security level acheived. The METOR 300 is capable of easily distinguishing between harmful and innocuous objects such as metallic shoe studs or belt buckles. This serves to significantly reduce the ratio of annoying false alarms thereby improving overall performance without ever compromising the detection of dangerous or threatening objects.

With its dual screen apparatus the METOR 300 EMD is designed to help security staff quickly and effectively locate potentially harmful and dangerous objects.
