The Vehicle Access Control System (PROSCAV) is a comprehensive solution to the problem of both moving or stationary vehicle supervision in a restricted access zone, providing an agile, modern and efficient system of access control:

• Detects the presence of a vehicle.
• Reads its licence plate.
• Processes the licence plate contents.
• Supplies and generates information.
• Takes decisions in real time.

In the field of automatic licence plate reading PROSCAV is based upon LAM (Automatic Licence Plate Reader), Artificial Vision technology capable of reliably reading, extracting and decoding the licence plates of stationary or moving vehicles in real time.

The information obtained is contrasted with that contained in the system’s own database executing the necessary actions according to the parameters previously set by the operator.

Real time operation ensures that the system is simultaneously capable of increasing the security level while at the same time significantly increasing the transit speed of vehicles passing through the control.
