EntryScan

The EntryScan 4 is a highly sensitive, high performance ‘Portal’ from GE Security, capable of detecting a wide range of explosives in a matter of seconds. Utilising patented technology the portal can identify the most elusive substances by detecting and analysing microscopic traces. The installation of this redesigned more compact model is possible in areas with a ceiling height as low as 2.5 m without decreasing the size of the walk-through passage.

Specifically designed to drastically reduce maintenance time, the portal has a rapid access panel that puts the system’s principal operating components within arms reach. The improved specimen compilation area ensures a complete body scan that includes both head and shoes.

The automatic traffic control is equipped with an exit hatch and audio/visual movement signals that help to optimise the passing traffic and thereby reduce operating costs. Precision, speed, distance monitoring and ease of movement make this portal a fundamental component at any checkpoint in the customer’s security operation.
